Thanks to Maine Township residents, 475 pounds of expired, unwanted and unused prescription and over-the-counter medications were dropped off during Medication Take Back Day on October 29th at the Niles, Des Plaines and Park Ridge Police Stations.

Removing medications from the home helps prevent substance abuse and also keeps our water supply clean from improper disposal methods.
