"I had my son in the car.  These people have no right to be showing these images here.  I mean it's a free country, everyone has a right to their opinion.  If you don't believe in abortion that's fine, but nobody has the right to be showing these photographs," Bruger said.

Eric Scheidler, the Pro-Life Action League's executive director, said he could sympathize with people reacting to the images negatively.  Scheidler explained, "I think the right response isn't to get angry with us for showing it, but to do all that we can to make a society in which we don't have to resort to this kind of killing of a totally innocent unborn child."

The stop in Niles was part of the group's "Face the Truth" tour which visited numerous towns in the Chicago area over 9 days.  The Niles protest began the final day of demonstrations for the 2011 tour.  The Pro-Life Action League regularly holds such tours for roughly 10 days every summer.
