We had 25 captions submitted for the photo of a dog with a remote control in last week's Caption This contest.

The Patch judges awarded title of best caption to David Parrish for "This Westminster Dog Show is so phony. These babes and their Botox and plastic surgery. And, what's with the wayout hairdos? I can't watch anymore!"

Both David Parrish and Jacob Nelson, who submitted the photo, will get a digital copy of the photo with the caption affixed. You can click on the thumbnail above to see what it looks like.

For next week, we’ve got a photo of jumping dogs. Could it be March Madness for the dogs? You can start submitting your funniest caption ideas now.

Here’s how it works:

* In the comments section below, write in your best idea for a funny caption for this photo. Comments must be in by noon Friday.

* The esteemed Patch judges will pick our favorite and announce it Monday, along with a new photo to caption.

* Both the caption writer and the reader who submitted the photo will get an emailed copy of the captioned photo.
