Crazy Jaws Is Not Operating

Village officials are hopeful the restaurant-bar will reopen.

The doors to Crazy Jaws, the Cajun-themed roadhouse at 9001 N. Waukegan Road, have been locked for a week, and calls to the restaurant reach a recording that simply says "Thank you for calling."

Bill Porter, the Village of Morton Grove's Building Commissioner Pro Tem, said, "I don't know a lot about why they closed their doors. All I can hope is that they resolve their issues and reopen."

The village did not shut the restaurant-bar down, he said.

Crazy Jaws opened for business in February 2011.

restaurants close because of bad food, or bad service, or a lousy menu. In this case you can say all of the above. Hope the next one in does a better job.
