An Illinois Appellate Court has ruled against William Joel Kafin, a physician and surgeon with offices in Skokie and Glenview, upholding a previous court's decision to strip Kafin of his license after he provided alcohol, smoked marijuana, prescribed controlled substanced and had sex with a 19-year-old former patient, the Glenview Announcements report.
The investigation into Kafin's misconduct began with a 2007 Department of Financial and Professional Regulation complaint against Kafin and culminated in his license loss and a $5,000.00 fine imposed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, according to the Glenview Announcements.

There isn't any money in being a regular doctor anymore due to HIGH cost of malpractice insurance... The ONLY doctors that make REAL money are the Surgeons and Specialists... Therefore, the doctor that lost his license really didn't lose much.
