The New Niles 2013 Party and the Responsible Leadership party, each with a candidate for mayor and three trustee candidates, filed their petitions Monday in Niles.

In District 207, incumbent board member Eric Leys filed, along with Mary Childers, a former Des Plaines 1st Ward City Alderman who serves on the Park Ridge-based Center of Concern Advisory Board.

Leys is a past District 207 Board President and currently chairs the Board Finance Committee.
