Maine South Seeks Distinguished Alums
Anyone may nominate an alum, but they must have contributed to society and achieved community, state or national recognition.
Maine South High School and the District 207 Educational Foundation announce that nominations are now being accepted for the Maine South High School Wall of Honor and are due by March 30,2013. Nomination Application Forms are available on the school website at: http://south.maine207.org/ and click on “Wall of Honor” icon on the left side of the page to find a nomination form.
Maine South High School and the Wall of Honor Selection Committee recognize graduates for their outstanding contributions to society through significant career accomplishments and/or community service. Our Wall of Honor serves the dual purpose of recognizing such accomplishments and presenting our Distinguished Alumni as role models for current students at Maine South High School.
To qualify for recognition, the nominee must have graduated from Maine South High School. Nominee must be at least 35 years old. Nominee may be recognized posthumously. Nominee’s achievements have gone beyond a personal benefit and his/her contributions were of a significant nature for the community and society. Nominee’s contributions were recognized on a community, state-wide or national basis.
Anyone can nominate a Maine South graduate. Nominations are for a three (3) year period of time, after which, if your nominee is not selected, the individual must be re-nominated for further consideration.
