Maine South to Face Lane Tech In Playoffs
Maine South will face Lane Tech at home Saturday, Oct. 27 in the first round of the Class 8A football playoffs.
Maine South will take on Chicago's Lane Tech High School in the first round of the Class 8A football playoffs at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at home.
Maine South (9-0) is the top seed in the bracket. The Hawks have held opponents to 117 points on the year, while scoring 333. Lane Tech (5-3) comes into the games as a clear underdog, having ended its season with a 42-6 loss to Simeon.
The winner will face either Hoffman Estates' Conant High School or Winnetka's New Trier High School.
