Morton Grove Crime: Slashed Tires, Forgery

There was also a case if identity theft. An arrest is merely an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

 

 

ARRESTS 

Victor Rodriguez, 23, of Northfield, was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 22, police said, and charged with possession of cannabis and no valid driver's license. Court date is scheduled for 11/29/12. 

Marleene Estrada, 28, of Des Plaines was stopped for traffic violations Oct 22, police said, and charged with driving without ever being issued a driver's license. Court date is scheduled for 12/20/12. 

Quantrill Smith, 28, of Chicago, was charged with forgery Oct. 23 in the 6300 block of Oakton. Police said he  attempted to purchase items with a fraudulent check. Court date is scheduled for 11/07/12.

Latrice Washington, 23, of Chicago, was charged with forgery Oct. 23 in the 6400 block of Oakton when, police said, she attempted to purchase items with a fraudulent check. Court date is scheduled for 11/29/12.

MISCELLANEOUS

In a theft case Oct. 20 in the 6800 block of Dempster, an unknown offender took the victim’s lock off the front of her locker in the changing room at the fitness center and took her wallet. 

In a criminal damage to vehicle case Oct. 18 in the 5600 block of Carol, an unknown offender slashed a tire on the victim’s vehicle with a sharp object.

In a criminal damage to vehicle case Oct. 18 in the 8900 block of McVicker, an unknown offender damaged the victim’s vehicle with a brick.

In a theft case Oct. 19 in the 9400 block of Michael Court, an unknown offender entered the victim’s vehicle by breaking a window and took a laptop computer.

In a deceptive practice/financial identity theft case Oct. 19 in the 8400 block of Callie, an unknown offender used the victim’s credit card number to make an unauthorized purchase.
