Police Blotter: Gym Rat Bandits Return

The following information was supplied by the Morton Grove Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Feb. 3 

Theft - Unknown offender(s) took the victims’ property from his locked locker while he was working out at LA Fitness on the 6800 block of Dempster. Unknown offender(s) took the victims’ property from his vehicle also, according to the Morton Grove Police Department.

Burglary: Residential - Unknown offender(s) entered the victim’s home through a door and took jewelry and cash from the 7300 block of Foster.

 

Feb. 3 

Burglary: Residential - Unknown offender(s) entered the victim’s home on the 9000 block of Shermer through a rear door and took an unknown amount of items.

 

Feb. 3 

Burglary: Residential - Unknown offender(s) entered the victim’s home on the 9000 block of National and took jewelry and a computer hard drive.

 

Feb. 4 

Criminal Damage to Property - Unknown offender(s) broke the light on a brick column at the end of the victim’s driveway on the 5000 block of Capulina.

 

Feb. 4

Disorderly Conduct - A husband and wife are getting a divorce. The husband made numerous calls to the wife. The police asked the husband to contact wife through their attorneys and the husband agreed.

 

Feb. 4 

Theft from Motor Vehicle - Unknown offender(s) entered the victim’s vehicle through an unlocked driver’s door on the 9400 block of Marion and took a GPS unit.

A Morton Grove squad car had a SUV pulled over on the 8900 block of National Ave. last night for a much longer time than it usually takes to write a ticket. I'm anxious to know what that was all about.
