Niles Honors Record Number of Retirees At Tuesday Meeting
Many took village's early retirement buyout.

Niles officials honored 15 retiring employees, most of whom took the village's early retirement incentive package, at Tuesday's village board meeting.
In an attempt to reduce payroll and thus reduce the budget during the recession, the village offered a buyout package. It's attractive to employees, yet will save the village money over the long haul.
