Niles Man, 34, Found Dead in California

He was found in Joshua Tree National Park in southern California, and his identity has not been released yet.

 

Park rangers at Joshua Tree National Park in Riverside County in southern California found a 34-year-old Niles man deceased in his vehicle on Saturday afternoon, according to a park spokesman, and reported by City News Bureau.

The man's identity has not yet been made public, although the Riverside County Coroner's Office said his next of kin have been notified.

The coroner's office also said deputies who found the man reported there were no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. The man was reported missing by relatives on Nov. 12, they added. The coroner's office has not yet performed an autopsy.

The man was found at a scenic overlook called Ocotillo Patch on Park Route 11 in the Pinto Basin area of the national park, according to television news station KMIR6.com.
