Pet of the Week: Claude

Each week, we spotlight an exceptional pet available for adoption from a local rescue.

If you are looking for a stunningly handsome sidekick, Claude may be your guy!  Claude is a young Catahoula mix with the most amazing coloring!  "Tiger striped" would describe his markings- he is certainly an attention-grabber!

Claude was recently adopted, then sadly, had to be returned to Chicago Canine Rescue.  It turns out that the resident cat was none too pleased with his enthusiastic outlook on life!  Due to his energy, he may do better in a home without cats, although he would love to have a canine playmate!  He would do great in an active family.  He loves people and would make a fantastic running partner.  And I can personally attest that he does great at the animal hospital!

Claude is around a year old.  He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and heartworm negative.  If you are interested in adopting or fostering him, visit  http://www.chicagocaninerescue.org for more information.  There you can also check out Caude's buddies!   If you are not ready for the long term commitment of adoption, consider becoming a foster home or stop by and take a dog for a walk.  It's great for them, and for you, too!
