Pet of the Week: Kobie

Each week, we spotlight an exceptional pet available for adoption from a local rescue.

"I'm a happy dog!" Kobie says in a dopey hound dog voice!  Although Kobie has a droopy face that sometimes makes him look sad, you can tell when he smiles his amazing smile that he is having a great time!

Kobie is one of Chicago Canine Rescue's older dogs, at seven years old.  He is a purebred Basset hound, and he has the typical happy-go-lucky attitude!  He's great with other dogs and enjoys going on walks with other CCR dogs.  He still has lots of love and sloppy kisses to give!  He is a very social boy!

Kobie and lots of other playful pooches are waiting for you at Chicago Canine Rescue!  His adoption includes his vaccines, dewormers, neutering, microchip and heartworm test.

If you are interested in adopting Kobie, please visit www.chicagocaninerescue.org and fill out an application, or look at Kobie's friends and see if you can find a place in your heart for a canine companion.  If you are not ready for the longterm commitment of adoption, consider becoming a foster home or stop by and take a dog for a walk.  It's great for them, and good for you, too!
