Some of the adults were almost as excited as the children when it came time to parade costumed pets around the block at Park Ridge's Autumnfest Saturday morning.

The event, co-sponsored by the Park Ridge Library and Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce, encouraged dog owners to dress up their pets in ther best Halloween finery and take part in the parade.

When it was over, there was plenty of time for socializing--and friendly sniffing.
