Police Find, Investigate Home With 35 Dogs

Glenview Police assisted the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services in investigating a house on the 3300 block of Lakewood Court.

 

 

The Glenview Police Department assisted the Department of Children and Family Services in investigating a residence on the 3300 block of Lakewood Ct., Glenview, that was housing 35 dogs, according to a press release.

Police and D.C.F.S. found the dogs on Friday, occupying various rooms throughout the residence, living in their own waste, according to the release. Police say the homeowners are now cleaning the home and placing the dogs in various facilities. 

Glenview police say they will conduct follow-up inspections regarding possible criminal complaints and compliance of village ordinances.
