Suspected Serial Bank Robber Captured
The suspect in six bank robberies in the Chicago area, including one in Arlington Heights, has been captured, according to Bandit Tracker Chicago.
One of Chicago's most wanted, the man suspected in a slew of area bank robberies, Kenneth F. White II, 34, has been captured, according to Bandit Tracker Chicago.
Identified by images captured on bank surveillance cameras, the FBI released White's name in late November. Suspected of robbing six banks in the Chicagoland area in about a month's time, the FBI offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the 34-year-old's arrest, who was considered armed and dangerous. According to Bandit Tracker Chicago, White has now been caught.

The suspect in Park Ridge and Glenview robberies and the Black Friday bank robbery in Arlington Heights, White did not use or show a weapon, and no one was hurt. According to authorities, White passed a note to a teller and fled the Glenview State Bank, 1801 S. Arlington Heights Road with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Referred to as "non takeover robberies," White allegedly hit a total of six banks over the course of about five weeks.
