One of Niles' most delicious and festive annual events, the International Taste of Niles, will be held Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at White Eagle Banquets.
The event features food stations, offering appetizers, entrees and desserts, from many Niles-area restaurants. It benefits the Niles Sister Cities committee, which fosters exchanges of students, citizens, business people and officials between Niles and its sister cities.
They are: Pisa, Italy; Nafplion, Greece; Limanova, Poland and Leixlip, Ireland.
Hence, the Taste will have food, donated by the restaurants, from all those countries and more.
This year, those serving food include: Amici Ristorante, Graziano's Brick Oven Pizza, Howard Street Inn, Kappy's Restaurant, Lone Tree Manor, Moher Public House, Mykonos Greek Restaurant, Playbook Sports Bar, Tony's Finer Foods, White Eagle Banquets and Woori Village, according to Pioneer Press.
Entertainment will also be provided by Enzo Incandela, Joe Walega and the Happy Hearts and Joe McShane, the newspaper said.
