The Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry held its 34th Annual VIP & Installation Awards Dinner Wednesday night at the American Legion Memorial Civic Center on Dempster Street. About 200 members of the civic and business communities gathered to recognize exceptional service within the community.
Members of the Chamber with milestone anniversaries were presented plaques for service ranging from five to 40 years. Century 21 Marino Real Estate was voted by Chamber members as the business member of the year for 2010, and Cindy Kopczyk accepted the VIP award, which is given for outstanding service. The 2011 Board of Directors was also installed during the evening.
