Are all those cutesy carols and pop-rock treatments getting on your nerves?

Maybe you prefer REAL Christmas carols--like, say, Silent Night, penned in 1818 in Austria by Joseph Mohr and Franz Gruber, which has persisted all these years because it so elegantly conjures a Christmas mood. 

Or maybe you like the exuberance of Joy to the World, or the inspiring O Holy Night, or the lullaby innocence of Away in a Manger.
