Voters Rush In For Early Voting In Niles
About 200 to 300 voters per day are streaming in to cast ballots at Niles Village Hall; Cook County numbers overall are high.
Will there be anyone left to vote on Nov. 6?
Yes, there will. But one can be forgiven for asking the question, because 1,726 voters have cast their ballots during Early Voting at Niles Village Hall alone. That's the figure through Monday Oct. 29; early voting continues through Saturday.
"The only comparison I have is for the primary election held earlier this year, where there were 377 total voters," said Marlene Victorine, Niles Village Clerk.

"If voters keep turning out in such large numbers, we may reach the Early Voting record set in 2008," Orr said. "All signs point toward heavy turnout through Saturday."

Voted today as I will be out-of-state on election day. I wanted to wait until the latest day possible (without risking missing the vote) to fully take in the candidates and issues. Really hoping we see a great turnout by all citizens everywhere!
