No doubt Niles serves good pizza, but here in Morton Grove we have better ones which have won national and local recognition. I hope Patch will feature some of those on our site some day too. Just a sampling of places in our town are Burt's, Pequod's, Giordano's and Nano's. Sorry Niles, you have your own Patch and pizza parlors and so do we and I am loyal to my hometown.

Lizzy T, you're right, Morton Grove has delicious pizza too. We're blessed to have all this good pizza in our area!

As far as chain pizzerias go, Nancy's makes a decent pie, but as Lizzy T said, there are excellent choices in Morton Grove. Giordano's, as an example of chain pizza, is arguably one of the originators of "Chicago-style" stuffed pizza. For family-owned or small chain pizza, Morton Grove boasts Burt's place, which has been featured on both Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" and WTTW's "Check Please" (seen at http://video.wttw.com/video/2192822216/ ).
