This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle brought the “luck of the Irish” to Niles on Sunday, making one resident $1,000,000 richer!

The winner, who has yet to come forward, purchased their ticket at, Touhy Lehigh Shell, 5900 Touhy, with the winning ticket number 400186.

The store will receive a $10,000 bonus, 1 percent of the jackpot amount, for selling a winning ticket.

The St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle, a popular game offered by the Illinois Lottery, has four $1,000,000 prizes; five $100,000 prizes and 500 $1,000 prizes. A total of 509 winning tickets were drawn last night.

Lottery players who purchased a St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle ticket can check the Lottery website www.illinoislottery.com, or bring their raffle ticket to one of more than 8,100 lottery retailers to see if they are one of the 509 lucky winners.
