Beat The Heat At A Cooling Center To Avoid Illness

Weather forecasts indicate it's going to be a warm week, with a high of 90 expected Friday.  If a cooling center is needed, the Niles Family Fitness Center is open 5:30a.m.-9:00p.m. The Niles Senior Center is open 8:30a.m.-7:30p.m. Tuesday and 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m. Wednesday. Please check on those in your neighborhood with limited access to air conditioning and transportation, such as seniors or those who are ill.  If you need assistance please call 847-588-6500 or 911.

The Center is open to all – seniors and younger – so please stay healthy and beat the heat at a cooling location if needed.
