Change in Niles

Here we are less than 2 months away from our local election here in Niles and people want change, ITS ABOUT TIME!!! Chris and his cronies have professed so, yet the only changes that have occured are ones for the worst. They have cut services to our seniors and citizens and claim that they have saved us money. Lets really look at what they have done. They have spent 100's of thousands of dollars on attorneys for what they claim is to make the village more transparent, yet they are calling for more Executive Sessions than have ever been called for in the last 2 decades. This session locks out the citizens and press, so where is transperency. Oh, and lets take a look at Louella Preston. Louella has run as an incumbent with Nick Blase all of these years and really never had a problem with that. As soon as Mayor Blase got in trouble, she pushed herself as far away as she could from him as possible and led the march to get rid of George VanGeem. Funny how they know enough about her and her spending of thousands of dollars above and beyond what she was alloted from the Village! Then there is Jim Hynes, a man that claims to be business friendly, yet votes against the things that make our Village business friendly. The only business friendly promotions by him have been hiring more attorneys to do what our Village Attirney can be doing. So he has put money in his fellow attorneys pockets, OUR MONEY that is. Do we really want these people to be voted in? I don't thonk so! Take a close look at the way they have voted in the last 4 years. No OTB, No Video Poker, No, NO, NO! Say no in the polls to them and lets set ourselves back up for success.

I guess then you will not be voting, since Andrew has been and always will be a Blase cronie, Also, George Alpogianis ran in the past election knowing full well that he was ineligible to serve as a trustee since he was a convicted felon. According to your standards, should we say NO to them, too?

What a rambling blog. Not even based in reality. Nutty to think excutive sessions aren't trasparent- they are supposed to be secret because of topics. The blogger doesn't seem to know much of anything. Like the Rocky Horro Show- BORING!
