Fausto Arneri began his business in Morton Grove in 1980 when the shop was located at Lincoln and Gross Point. Two years later they moved to the current location at 5835 Dempster and started to revolutionize the salon industry.

Faust of Italy was one of the first in the world to offer the “Total Beauty Concept” - integrating a health club and spa under one roof.

They are very well known in the hairdressing community, with stylists having won most every major hairdressing completion. Faust, along with stylists Cathy and Sharon, have all won the State Championship of Styling.

While the Health Club is no longer in existence, Faust and his Award Winning staff continue to offer the core salon services which they have become famous for - from all kinds of hair treatments and styles, to manicures and pedicures, waxing, facials and massage.

When asked what the secret behind his successful business was, Faust simply said “I would not trade my staff for anything!”

Faust was honored at the Chamber’s Installation and Awards dinner in early February for 30 years of Chamber Membership!

The Salon is open on Tuesday from 9-2, Wednesday from 9-6, Thursday & Friday from 9-8 and Saturday from 8-5:30.
