Learn About Online Genealogy Research

Interested in genealogy research? Steve Szabados presents his popular program about using the Internet for genealogy research at the Niles Public Library on Sun., Feb. 24 at 2pm.

Mr. Szabados will cover most of the major online resources and methods used in family research. He will demonstrate how to unlock some of the secrets to be found at such websites as FamilySearch, Ellis Island, Find a Grave, Ancestry, Heritage Quest, and many more. He will also discuss the use of message boards and online family trees to help solve brickwall problems and discover some European resources.

Mr. Szabados is the Genealogy Columnist for the Polish American Journal and the author of Find Your Family History: Steps to Get Started and Finding Grandma’s European Ancestors.
