More About Grennan Heights Park
Grennan Heights is one of the Niles Park District's most popular parks. It's where children's soccer teams play and parents cheer them on, and there is also a baseball field with bleachers, tennis courts and a well-shaded playground. The building contains a gymnasium, basketball court, men's and women's locker rooms, a lounge area and a preschool.
The parks hosts summer camps each year, and on the day of the Fourth of July parade (one of Niles' biggest community events), the parade route finishes at Grennan Heights, and there are tents, children's games, a band and food for a huge community celebration.
