- There's a Party in the Park and Ice Cream Social at Morton Grove's Pioneer Park Wednesday at 6 p.m. (I always thought it was called Purple Dinosaur Park; you'll see why when you get there.) It's a little south of Dempster and west of Austin. Tell mom I said it was OK to eat ice cream before dinner!
- Brush up your Shakespeare! You can audition today for the Edge of the Wood Theatre Company's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
- Mod Podge--the name alone sounds like fun. I think it's a kind of goop you use for crafts. The Morton Grove Library has a 5 p.m. class for teens, to decorate a notebook with Mod Podge and go back to school in style.
- This weather is great for golfing. Did you know you can take individual or small group lessons at the Tam Golf Learning Center in Niles? You can even set up a golf clinic as a team-building exercise for your business.
