Coats collected during the Cops For Coats drive will be distributed to Maine Township residents, 9 AM – 2 PM, Saturday, November 16, 2013, Maine Township Hall, 1700 Ballard Road, Park Ridge, Illinois.

Township Supervisor Carol A. Teschky said, "We are again privileged to participate with the Police Departments from Park Ridge, Niles and Des Plaines in this coat drive. It seems like a simple thing but having a warm coat in winter is critical to many in our area."

“With the holidays approaching many of our residents are thinking about ways we can help others.  Cops For Coats provides this opportunity.  People may bring gently worn, clean winter coats, that they wish to discard, to the police stations 24 hours a day,”   Des Plaines Police Officer Michael Heidkamp said.
