Maine Township Helps Support Taste of Park Ridge

Bill Rogers of Park Ridge, left, greets Maine Township Supervisor Carol Teschky at the township booth during the July 13 Canopies on Courtland Business Expo during the Taste of Park Ridge. Rogers is associated with the Park Ridge based Avenues to Independence organization. Maine Township has shown support of Avenues for many years as one of its funded agencies. The fest attracts over 40,000 visitors during its 4-day run.

During the Taste of Park Ridge last weekend, local residents got a chance to visit with Maine Township elected officials, ask questions and get valuable brochures about township services. Here, l to r, are Highway Commissioner Robert Provenzano, Richard Molly of Niles, Supervisor Carol Teschky, and Gabriela Symanski of Park Ridge. Maine Township provided volunteer help and other support including trained emergency personnel for the annual Park Ridge fest.

Maine Township supports the Taste of Park Ridge, a local family fest, by providing free bingo on Senior Day, numerous volunteers and its award-winning Office of Emergency Management team which provides safety-related assistance and crowd control.
