Commission, Illinois Department of Transportation, and the Metropolitan

Water Reclamation District.

 

The purpose was to review areas of potential flooding and work toward

multi-agency and intergovernmental cooperation and solutions. "We in Maine

Township were very glad to have the opportunity to meet with so many

agencies and mutually start the work needed to address area flooding," said

Teschky. "Solutions may be costly and difficult but are vital to health,

safety and the economics of our area."
