Slurpee Surprise for Teen Volunteers at Niles Library!

Niles Police Chief Dean Strzelecki surprised nearly 50 Niles Public Library Summer Reading teen volunteers with free Slurpee coupons last Saturday.

The police officers are participating in “Operation Chill”  where they "ticket" youngsters who are caught in random acts of kindness, good deeds or positive community activities with the Slurpee coupons.
