A.    I taught for five years at Roosevelt Middle School in River Forest. I then moved to Cooper Middle School in Buffalo Grove where I was the the Dean of Students for three years. My job prior to this one was being Assistant Principal at the Jack London Middle School in Wheeling for 4 years.

Q.    What changes have you instituted at Golf Middle School?

A.     Golf Pride is a program I started that encourages students to care about each other. Each month teachers nominate students who have demonstrated good character. We have a bulletin board devoted to Golf Pride nominees.

Q.    What makes Gold Middle School special?

A.     Both the community and the student body are a tightly knit group. And because there are only 290 students, I have been able to get to know the students individually.

Q.    What do you enjoy doing when you're not at school?

A.     I like to spend time outside with my husband and two sons. I also enjoy reading when I have the time.
