Lizards and Snakes and Books, Oh My!

Get live and up close with reptiles and small mammals at the Morton Grove Public Library on Presidents Day. Join natural science expert Dick Buchholz as he introduces you to his many animal friends. There will be snakes, lizards and small mammals galore. Buchholz will teach the whole family about the environment and how it is effecting animals in the wild.

Craving for Sweets

Aim for something sweet and visit the newly opened Sucre et Sales, 6227 Dempster St. The candy and confectionery shop offers delightful goodies like milk chocolate pretzels, diced mango, chocolate covered pecans, roasted nuts and more. Sucre et Sales is open Monday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m.
