Chicagoland Experiencing Record Heat

September breezes aren't returning all that soon.

Tuesday's 95-degree high at O'Hare tied the record set 30 years ago on Sept. 10, 1983, according to blog.chicagoweathercenter.com. Tuesday's forecast is for a still-hot 89 degrees.

Chicago hasn't set a record high temperature in September since the thermometer reached 95 degrees, on Sept. 10, 1983.
