Come Hungry For Romanian Fest, June 14-16 In Niles

When the tents go up soon for the Romanian Heritage Festival, being held Friday through Sunday, get ready for a parade of folkloric costumes, central European live music and dancing, a soccer tournament and a variety of Romanian food.

Sausages are a big part of Romanian cuisine, and this year, the festival is featuring the world's largest grill. The Johnsonville Big Taste Grill is a  mammoth, 65-foot long, 20 feet high, grill on a truck, and it can cook 750 bratwursts at a time, or 2,500 per hour.
