Do You Live Up to Your Resolutions?

New year, new you. 

As we put up a fresh calendar and embark upon 2012 many of us have made resolutions. A resolution to lose weight, a resolution to quit smoking or just a promise to be a better person.

But how many of us actually keep the promises we make to ourselves and live up to our New Year's resolutions? Apparently, not very many.

According to New York Times health columnist Tara Parker-Pope, four out of five people will eventually break them.

"In fact, a third won’t even make it to the end of January," writes Parker-Pope.

A large portion of that is due to people setting goals they simply can't keep. Especially when it comes to getting in shape or exercising. 

"It's the same scene every year. On Jan. 1, there is a big spike in health club membership and participation. Six weeks later, it dwindles down to the usual suspects," according to KWGN in Colorado

So, we thought we'd ask you and see if Morton Grove can prove the numbers wrong. Do you live up to your New Year's resolutions?
