Don't Toss Old Electronics—Recycle Them
At several events this summer, you can dispose of tuckered-out PCs, gaming devices and more in an environmentally-friendly way.
Sign of the times: The largest part of the waste stream used to be paper. Now it's old, used-up electronic devices, according to the
SWANCC, whose members include local villages, has scheduled events at which residents can drop off no-longer-wanted electronics for recycling. That's much easier on the environment than tossing them in the trash.
There's no cost to drop off, and SWANCC will accept a large variety of electronic devices. Scroll down for a complete list.
