Kick off Money Smart week with this fun and free event, called "the ultimate in recycling." Suggested donation: one can of food or one box of a non-perishable food item. Food donations will be given to the Maine Township and Niles Township Food Pantries.
The second Craft Supply Swap, co-sponsored by the Morton Grove Department of Senior and Family Services, SWANCC, and MGPL, will be held at the American Legion Memorial Civic Center, 6140 Dempster, on Sat., April 21, from 9 am - 12 noon.
Bring your unused, leftover craft supplies and unfinished craft objects for others to enjoy. Pick up supplies for your own projects. You'll find fabric, yarn, buttons, beads, glitter, paint, decorations, silk flowers, doll-making supplies, stamps, scrapbooking items, wooden frames, boxes, etc., and much more.
You may drop off your craft supply donations on:
- Friday, April 6, from 10 am - 2 pm
- Friday, April 13, 10 am - 2 pm
- Friday, April 20, 2 - 6 pm
