Former Our Lady of Ransom Deacon Becomes Ordained Priest
The church will welcome back Mark Augustine this summer.
A familiar face is returning to Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church in Niles, the Niles Herald-Spectator reports.
Mark Augustine, a former deacon with the parish, is returning to the church as an associate pastor on July 1. Augustine, 28, became an ordained priest on May 18 by the Chicago Archdiocese. He tells the newspaper he looks forward to serving the people of the church.
