Find some fun local things to do in your downtime.

Interfaith Seder
Where/When: St. Martha Church, 8523 N. Georgiana, Morton Grove. 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21 in the Pine Room.
Why Go: A Catholic-Jewish couple explain the symbolism and solemnity of the seder ritual to all interested in learning.
Pricing: Bring a dish to share for the seder pot luck. Tip: Don’t bring ham.

Feature Film: The Social Network
Where/When: Morton Grove Public Library, 6140 Lincoln Ave., Morton Grove, 2 p.m., Thursday, April 21
Why Go: An award-winning film that lends insight to one of the most powerful social networking tools in society today.
Pricing: Free.

The Movers Band
Where/When: Chambers Seafood Grill and Chop House, 6881 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, Friday April 22, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
Why Go: Check out some oldies and burn off some calories before/after holiday meals.
Pricing: Buy a drink or a meal.

Visitation of the Seven Churches
Where/When: After the 7 p.m. Holy Thursday Mass at St. John Brebeuf Church, 8307 N. Harlem, Niles, board a bus for the traditional Visitation of the Seven Churches on this night. The tentative plan includes visiting St Hyacinth, Holy Trinity Polish Mission, St. Mary of the Angels, St. Stanislaus Kostka, St. Hedwig, St. John Cantius, St. Constance. Buses return around midnight. (847) 966-8145.
Why Go: It’s a Holy Week tradition for Catholics.
Pricing: $10 donation for the bus.

Bulls Game and Madman Band
Where/When: Emerald Isle Bar and Grill, 6686 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago. Saturday, April 23. Bulls game is at 1:30 p.m., Madman Band plays 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Why Go: Sports and music, how can you go wrong?
Pricing: Buy a drink.

Earth Day Crafts, Snacks for Teens
Where/When: Niles Library, 6960 W. Oakton St., Niles, 2-4 p.m.
Why Go: Recycle plastic bags into crafts and reusable fabric, and make snacks from eco-friendly ingredients.

Why Go: Learn how to turn Peeps into sushi!

GPS Unplugged

Why Go: Sing along to classic pop, rock and country tunes.
