Why Go: The Writers Theatre stages an adaptation of Graham Greene’s novel about a retired banker and his incredibly eccentric aunt.

International Kennel Club of Chicago
Where/When: Feb. 25-27 at McCormick Place, 2301 S. Lake Shore Dr., Chicago.
Why Go: Pooches compete for best in show in the club’s 150th dog show.

WingFest
Where/When: Bailey Auditorium, 1340 W. Washington Blvd., Sunday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m.
Why Go: Chicago restaurants bake it out to win the title of “Best Wings.” The money raised during the event will go to a variety of local charities.

Where/When: Friday, Feb. 25, 9 a.m. at Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Rd, Glencoe.
