Get Travel Bug At Niles Library

The summer reading program takes an international theme. Kids, teens and adults can take part, and there are some good prizes.

If you're a teen, you can win an Apple iPod touch. If you're an adult, you can win a Sony Digital Reader. And if you're a kid, you can get plenty of prizes.

The hopes the prizes will entice people to take part in its "One World, Many Stories" summer reading program.  Those clever librarians know that the prizes are just a foot in the door--the books themselves are the real reward.

"It's a lot of fun. It's all free," said Clara Sheffer of the library staff. "You get to play the game, win prizes, read what you like to read and, for kids, keep up your reading skills over the summer."
