Where/When: Saturday, Feb. 26, 6 p.m. at Morton Grove Public Library, 6140 Lincoln Ave, Morton Grove.
Why Go: Supplies and instruction are provided.
Pricing: Free. RSVP required.

Chicago Land Kids Expo
Where/When: 9-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 and 10-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27
Why Go: The ultimate kid universe under one roof. Kids can play on inflatable rides and games, hang out at the petting zoo and party with Radio Disney.
Pricing: $10 for Adults, $5 for kids ages three and up.


Where/When: Glenview New Church School, Saturday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Tap your toes to the beats of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s at this family-friendly event.
Pricing: Free


Where/When: Des Plaines Theater, Saturday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
Why Go: This family-friendly, modern take on vaudeville will feature performers whose talents range from juggling to comedy, magic and more.
Pricing: $12


Where/When: Friday, Feb. 25, 8 p.m. at Seven Ten Lounge, 2747 N Lincoln Ave., Chicago
Why Go: Knock down pins to rack up money for the health system’s infant special care unit.
Pricing: $25 for members, $35 for non-members


Where/When: Saturday, Feb. 26, 2 p.m. at the Winnetka Public Library, 768 Oak St.
Why Go: Celebrate the man who created, Green Eggs and Ham with stories, games and cake.
Pricing: Free


Where/When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26;
Why Go: Thomas the Tank Engine and the Hogwarts Express will be rolling into the Deerfield Public library as part of the North Central O’Gauger’s model railroad exhibit. Train buffs of all ages are invited to the all-day show, which also features replicas of popular regional and historical lines.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1
Where/When: 2 – 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 – 10 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26;
Got a Harry Potter fan on your hands? Park the kid in front of the big screen at the library, which hosts two showings of the film on Saturday.
