How Do You Get Your Kids to Talk About Their Day?
What tips or advice do you have to get your kids to communicate more?
Now that school has started, are you greeting the kids at the door and asking “How was school today?” If your house is like mine, you're probably getting the short answers like “Fine”? Or my favorite, “OK.” It's only been a week and my kids seem to have nothing to say, so I thought I would ask all of you for advice on how to get your kids to open up more and talk to you about their day.
I found a good article on the subject at Parents-Choice.org with Tips to Get Your Child to Talk About Her School Day. But, what works at your house? How do you get your kids to talk more?
