It's Spring Break: What To Do With The Kids in Niles, Park Ridge, Morton Grove

Check our last-minute ideas to keep your kids busy and entertained over Spring Break. Here are some activities offered in Morton Grove, Park Ridge and Niles.

 

  • The Niles Library has a full schedule for little kids through young teens, from storytimes and crafts to a Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie to making a Lego masterpiece and playing chess. Check out their blog post here. 
  • Watch 12 boxing exhibition bouts at Notre Dame College Prep, 7 p.m. Friday, March 22. $5 general admission. 
  • The Niles Park District offers a Flashlight Egg Hunt Weds. March 27 at Golf View Recreational Center, 7800 N. Caldwell, Niles, at 7:30 p.m. Sign up in advance. $10. 
  • The Niles Park District's Iceland Facility offers a Spring Bunny Hop Skate at noon Saturday, March 30, at 8435 W. Ballard Road, Niles.
  • The Park Ridge Park District offers an Egg Dip at the Community Center pool. Children from age groups 1-3, 4-6 and 7 and up will gather plastic eggs in the pool. Friday March 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • A Kickoff Cookout at the Park Ridge Park District's Oakton Driving Range and Batting Cages takes place Sat. March 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • The Morton Grove Park District's Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt takes place Friday March 29 at 11 a.m. for children 3-10. 
  • Niles Teen Center Swimming and Dodgeball event. Wednesday March 27, Noon to 5 p.m. Register in advance.
