Kappys Restaurant Closed For Major Remodel

On just the first day of Kappy's Restaurant and Pancake house's closure for remodeling, workers tore out all the booths and banquettes.

The restaurant closed Monday, Sept. 16, and will reopen in early October, said owner George Alpogianis, with an all- new look. The remodel is expected to last about three weeks.

Kappy's has been in business 34 years, and was due for a remodel, Alpogianis said in a statement.

The following is also from the statement.

Proprietor George Alpogianis has taken his extensive culinary background to create new dishes and  is proud to introduce new menu items that are sure to please his loyal customers.  Beer, wine and cocktails will now be served and the new floor layout includes a separate area for private parties.   This all new dining room and expanded culinary concept will offer a fantastic new dining experience.

“This make-over is long past due and I know our customers will be more than happy with the new Kappy’s,” states Alpogianis.
