Lawsuit Claims Woman Injured Using Leg Machine
Incident allegedly happened at Bally's Total Fitness in Morton Grove.
A woman using a leg curl exercising machine claims she was injured after the machine failed to stop and struck her in the face and shoulder, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday, as reported by the Morton Grove Champion.
The incident allegedly occurred on Sept. 26, 2009 after Olga Chernyavskaya was exercising at Bally’s Total Fitness Club, 6821 W. Dempster St., in Morton Grove, according to a lawsuit filed in Cook County Circuit Court.
The lawsuit seeks more than $100,000 in damages and court costs.
