Light Candle On Porch Friday For Newtown

Morton Grove is honoring the victims of the Newtown shooting rampage by asking residents to light a candle (preferably flameless) in their window or on the porch. Light the Night and show your support.

 

To honor the victims of the Newtown shooting rampage, in which 20 children and seven adults were killed Dec. 14, the village of Morton Grove is encouraging residents to participate in a community-wide show of support.

To take part, place a candle, preferably flameless, in your window or on your porch Friday, Dec. 21 from 5 to 10 p.m.
